Camp Info and Prep

We are offering 4 WEEKS of Camp this year…

AND WE ARE SOOOOOO VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT!!!

This year will look a little different as Crown Park is under renovation and Jacquie is continuing to heal from a year of fighting cancer. BUT we still have so much awesomeness planned and we are still very excited about it all!

This year we are offering 4 weeks of 1/2 day camp fun for youth ages 4-10 in our downtown camas Yoga Studio. Keep reading to learn more about all of the fun we have coming up and what to expect each week.

Camp will take place at LiveWell Camas Studio all summer! We are keeping our sessions intentionally small (with a minimum of 5 campers per session and a maximum of 10 campers per session) so that we can ensure the best possible time for everyone who participates.

Each week will be themed and each and every day will include:

  • 45+ mins of Yoga and Mindful Movement. (with additional games, postures, and Yoga tools weaved throughout the day)

  • Mini Nature Walks and scavenger hunts in our small downtown district

  • Games and Lego Building

  • Art/Craft projects

  • Dance Parties

  • Mindful Activities/Relaxation Centers

  • A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!

Before and After Care:

Because we are doing half day camps this year we will not be offering before care. After Care will be available until 5 pm each day for an additional charge of $15-25/camper each day. This is charged separately from the cost of the camp and can be paid on a daily or weekly basis, children much be preregistered for aftercare

What to pack every day:

  • Snacks

  • Full Water Bottle

  • Wear comfortable clothes for moving in and having as much fun as possible!

Personal Belongings

We do not mind if campers bring their favorite stuffies or other personal items to camp, however, please note that we do not allow electronics to be used during camp sessions. Each camper and parent assumes the risk of personal belongings in case of damage, loss, or theft. LIVEWELL CAMAS and LITTLE WARRIORS YOGA SCHOOL will not be responsible for any items brought to camp. If a personal belonging becomes a distraction or is deemed inappropriate, said item may be taken from the camper on that day and they may be asked to no longer bring personal items.

Policies: Refunds, Behavior, etc

Please note that we are a small program. Refunds for the weekly sessions must be requested ten days in advance, if you find that you need to switch sessions please let us know immediately.Once your child has attended their first day of camp, no refunds or pro-rations will not be allowed.

Our scheduled camp hours are from 1 pm-4 pm daily, with aftercare available until 5 pm each day for an additional charge of $15-25/day. Please be mindful of our staff’s time and do your best to pick your camper up by no later than 5 pm each day. Late fees may be assessed at the rate of $15 for the first 10 minutes and a $1 fee for every minute thereafter. All late fees are paid directly to the staff member that is on duty and are due at the time of pick up. Checks can be made out directly to the staff member.

We want to create the safest and best experience for all of our campers. We do a LOT of work around emotional regulation through words and movement. This being said we do have a strict no-bullying policy. If for any reason a child is involved in hitting, biting, or otherwise physically assaulting another camper, or has demonstrated blatant disrespect to others through words and actions, including our staff, the parent of the said camper will be notified immediately and asked to pick their child up from camp.

Depending on the severity of the said event, parents may be asked to find an alternative option for their summer needs even after only a single incident. Refunds will not be given to anyone who is dismissed from camp for bullying or disrespect. We serve a broad range of families and have adopted this policy to ensure the best experience for every child we serve.

Summer Fun on a Sliding Scale

We recognize that summer fun for your family is something that must be budgeted for. We offer all of our programming on a sliding scale to create as much accessibility for the families in our area as we can. Scholarships and additional financial assistance are available on request for those families that need additional support.

A quick note about our sliding scale breakdown for each session:

$180/camper covers the daily cost of operating our space
$200/camper covers the daily cost of operation our space + allows us to market the camp through social media and flyers
$250-$300/camper covers the daily cost of operation our space + allows us to market the camp through social media and flyers, ensures that everyone can access our services, that we can pay our staff a living wage, and that we can continue to offer programming like this.
